If all the world is a stage, then the 2011 AACTFest is the perfect opportunity to see actors strut and fret their hour upon the stage and bring their best to compete against their peers. The South Arkansas Arts Center, nestled in the Timberlands in El Dorado, Arkansas' original boomtown, proudly hosts this year's festival. Join in the fun and excitement of theatre with a tinge of a competitive edge and support your local thespians.
This year’s performances include Kitchen Dance (Ouachita Little Theatre, Mena), Graceland (The Little Theatre of Crittenden County, West Memphis), Same Time, Next Year (South Arkansas Arts Center, El Dorado) and Tuesdays with Morrie (Conway Community Arts Association, Conway). Performances begin at 6:45pm on Friday, February 4 and continue beginning at 2:30pm on Saturday, February 5. Tickets for the performances are $10 (includes all four performances. Tickets for meals are also available (pre-purchase only) for dinner at 5pm on Friday, lunch at 1:00pm on Saturday and dinner at 6:30pm on Saturday ($21.50 – includes all meals).
